The Planning and Scheduling School is “Not a Basic” course but is designed for “Beginners and Advanced Beginners.” Attendees should be practicing work management professionals or have a keen association with work management methodologies and vocabulary. The school is perfect for Maintenance Leadership or any personnel who need to interact with Maintenance Planners and Schedulers and who need to understand the process.
Introduction
Maintenance Planning and Scheduling is an in-depth look into the overall Maintenance Process. This course will introduce concepts such as Identify, Plan, Schedule, Execute, Complete, and Analyze (IPSECA). This maintenance process is a thorough look into a well-organized maintenance organization. We will cover the process from end to end and introduce other aspects such as Document Control, Backlog Management, Shutdowns, Performance Analysis, and Reliability Terms used throughout the process.
The course is delivered through 3-days of interactive classroom education, including reinforcing and interactive exercises.

Meet the Instructor
Ron Torrance has over 40+ years of experience working in maintenance, with over 18 years as a professional services consultant in various industries, including Manufacturing, Mining, Oil & Gas, and Chemicals throughout North America. His EAM project experience includes all aspects of maintenance business process development, configuration, integration, testing, validation, training, documentation, and support. Ron also has extensive experience managing and coordinating all aspects of master data conversion/migration. He has held numerous positions both as a Project and Functional Lead on numerous EAM implementations. Ron specializes in Maintenance “Best Practices” with a concentration in Maintenance Planning and Scheduling.
