Qualifications and professional status
Chris is a master planner and scheduler, a go-to proactive problem solver, and a dynamic communicator. Prior to co-founding Progressive Plan Inc, Chris started his path as a Steamfitter over 15 years ago and has a broad knowledge of turnarounds, projects, and maintenance activities/processes through various roles including foreman, supervisor, coordinator, planner, scheduler, and project manager. He has worked throughout various industries including but not limited to, oil and gas (upstream, downstream, and midstream), chemicals, fertilizer, and uranium mining. Witnessing the many inefficiencies, cost overruns on the business side, and lack of empathy towards the human side, Chris was motivated for change and co-founded Progressive Plan Inc.

Qualifications and professional status
Over the last 23 years, prior to co-founding Progressive Plan, in the capacity of Welder, Boilermaker, and Steamfitter Curtis Hermans has worked his way up through various job functions and managerial positions including foreman, planner, scheduler, mechanical/construction coordinator, superintendent, shutdown/turnaround planner/coordinator and project manager. Curtis takes a methodical, philosophical approach to challenges and is not afraid to leverage knowledge from hobbies and prior experience to achieve a successful outcome. Realizing the many opportunities available for improvement regarding reducing costs and empowering people in his industry, Curtis co-founded Progressive Plan Inc.
